Deeds judge a man. Actions speak of the character. A man cannot be called ‘Great’ by his wealth, position of status. Greatness is judged by what and how a man acts in the society, among his fellowmen.
A social worker may not be a man of riches but he may command a great respect because he is always ready to render service and help to the needy. Society admires one whose actions are admirable and admirable actions would be those by which the fellowmen stand benefitted; they stand served.

Carry a man in pain and distress to the hospital, get him proper medical attention as he has none else to attend on him; serve a meal to one who is starving even if you have to miss your own meal; on a larger scale, set up a nursing home for the poor if you have money and resources; carry on a drive to collect funds to build houses for those whose thatched huts have been reduced to ashes by a fire. Posterity would remember you for these ‘great’ good deeds. You would have got your name recorded among the ‘Great’ just by your good deeds which are ‘great’ deeds.
