The Officer-in-Charge,
Re: Fleeing of the driver with taxi No.____________ taking a leather suitcase containing ornaments and other valuables kept in the dicky of the vehicle.
ADVERTISEMENTS:
Dear Sir,
With extreme regret I have to inform you that the newly married bride was brought in taxi No. ____________ to____________ (name and address of the place), where the marriage reception was arranged on the evening of____________ , taking a leather suitcase containing ornaments and other valuables kept in the dicky of the taxi, While the bride alighted from the taxi after it reached the place of reception, it skipped the attention of other occupants of the taxi that there was a leather suitcase in the dicky and accordingly it could not be taken out from there and the driver speeded away with his taxi after taking the fare.
I would request you to diarise the incident and take all- out efforts by sending all concerned messages to other police stations immediately informing the number of the taxi for its interception so that the leather suitcase containing the ornaments and other valuables could be recovered from the said taxi.
Since this letter is being sent to you without any loss of time after the incident took place, the driver may not be able to get the number plate of the taxi changed so soon with the obvious purpose that the taxi could not be traceable by the police.
ADVERTISEMENTS:
Thanking you,
Yours faithfully,
(Your Name)
