Dear Sir,

I have been continuing to pay charges for consumption of electricity in respect of the meter installed at my above address. Please be informed that I shall be shifting to my newly constructed house situated at____________ within the next seven days.

I would, therefore, request you to arrange to shift the meter in question to my new residential address, as mentioned above after seven days from the date of this letter, so that I along with the members of my family have not to go without electricity in my new house after my shifting there.
