The Editor,
Dear Sir,
I shall be highly obliged if you would kindly leave a little space in your esteemed Daily to highlight the following.
ADVERTISEMENTS:
Sir – “Corruption in the food distribution system in the districts has continued to be rampant in the past recent months for which attacks on ration dealers in their shops including setting on fire of their houses and food-grains looted have been continuing unabated. Police force had to be deployed to stem the tide of the situation and the cases of deaths of the agitators suffering from not getting rations from the ration shops, due to police firing are also there. This has infuriated the inciters and the situation, as it appears, has gone out of control. Under such circumstances, police action is not the remedy to bring back the situation under normalcy. What is needed most is that the government has to bring the dishonest ration dealers to book including cancellation of their licence and punish other disgruntled persons indulging in corruption in the public distribution system.”
Yours faithfully,
(Your Name)
