Sir,

The letters on ____________ (Place Name) city’s deteriorating road condition are quite revealing. But I wonder politicians would ever look into these matters seriously. It has been truly said that roads really reflect the society.

It’s a shame on the part of the politi­cians that even after more than 50 years of country’s indepen­dence, they are still making false promises like clean drinking water, good roads in their election rallies. These things should have been taken care of much before.

It’s really high time on the part of politicians to change their election manifestoes.
