Punishment for extortion:
This section provides punishment for extortion. It says that whoever commits extortion shall be punished with simple or rigorous imprisonment for a term extending up to three years, or with fine, or with both. Where the head master of a school called a lady teacher of the school to a place where he was alone and induced her to sign three blank papers threatening an attack on her modesty, this section, was held to be attracted.
