This phrase that ‘Knowledge is power’ may be an old one; however, its high moral value is never perishable. One can classify power into two categories, mental strength and physical strength.
The former is referred to a learned man or an intelligent person or the country like Japan that has improved in the field of science and technology, while the latter defines the physical strength of a man, or a country that is powerful in terms of military operations.
Of these two, mental and physical strength, the former is always considered as superior to the latter. This has been repeatedly told. One could have heard of, or read about it in children’s stories, like ‘Panchatantra’ and many more.

Until the middle of the Twentieth century, physical strength was rated superior. World War 1(1914-1918) and World War II (1939 – 1945) are the best example to it. But die necessity of development and growth of civilization turned the table and ushered mental power as the No. 1
As a result of which, modern world keep competing with each other and strives hard for development and prosperity. The space exploration became the prestigious issue between Russia and America.

And finally America edged ahead of its competitor and men landed first on die Moon on July 9, 1969. However, of late India, too limps to advancement; ‘Chandirayan’ is indeed, India’s pride.
Later, die power of knowledge has been utilized for all constructive purposes. The birth of green and white revolution, science, engineering, technology’, satellite, electric, electronic, oil, water, spinning mills, weaving, export and many essential things serve mankind on his day to day needs.
While knowledge is indisputably considered as superior, it does not mean that physical power can be ignored. With the terrorism fast gaining notoriety over the world, it became mandatory to enhance the power; power here denotes defense, security, safety and loss prevention which can protect any nation from die enemies.
Thus, die stress is given equal importance to mental and physical strength as well. The way to acquire these two is only through perfect vision and mission.
