If I were the Prime Minister of India. My first priority will be to remove unemployment. This will need complete reformation of education system.
The education should be employment oriented instead of examination oriented.
The education upto Sr. Sec. or its equivalent would be compulsory and free throughout the country.
ADVERTISEMENTS:
This would be my preference that the deserving students must get free education upto college level without any reservation on the basis of minority, regionalism and caste. Unemployment allowance would be given to educated youth.
Maintenance of law and order is as important as education. It would be my prime duty to provide security to people of life and property.
The properties of those people would be confiscated who give shelter to terrorists, extremists and secessionists. Those people will be shortly tried and capital punishment will be awarded to them so that others may take a lesson from it.
ADVERTISEMENTS:
My third priority will be to provide three basic facilities, bread, house and cloth to every citizen of India. I would try my best that social problems may not be politicalized.
As there is acute shortage of houses in the towns, I would discover means to solve it. Jhuggi dwellers will not be allowed to promote slum areas.
The wrong practice of division of country or the states on the flimsy ground of language or regionalism will not be allowed. These things weaken the country. Every step, may it be little hard, will be taken to build India a powerful and a strong nation.
Development of science and technology, well-framed foreign policy and other policies for the upliftment of the country would be adopted to build India’s status in the world politics. People will be taught about their duties in respect of their rights as provided by the Constitution.
ADVERTISEMENTS:
Strikes and agitations will be banned. People will be taught to work hard. They will be men of high moral and character.
Taxation is another sector which needs simplification. Mode of payment of taxes would be made easier.
I know that the work of the Prime Minister is very hard, but there is always someone for the post. I will try to solve all the problems India is facing today.
