Frank James Ryan Jr…Fjr was born in New York and he began his pastime hobby in 2006 and got his works published.
His works has been on display with various literary groups and associations throughout United States. He has a very strong readership base. He currently works as Chief Operating officer for the C.M.S .Global Inc. he is well versed in Martial Arts, weightlifting, basketball, swimming and diving.
His hobbies include Music, Public speaking, politics, Creative writing etc. His publications are mainly seen in the U.S. News and world report, Times Magazine and many more. He has won awards in 1997 the first prize in creative Arts and Science Spring Literary Competition, the second prize in 1998 in creative Arts and Science Summer Poetry Slam.

His poem, Emeralds and Black Diamonds is a poem that portrays the beauty of love between two people and it regarding the description of their eyes that have been given as the title.
This poem is spread in three stanzas and each stanza beautifully shows cases the quest for love between couple. In the initial of the poem, he says that the man is calling for the lady to lie beside him in the beautiful green meadows and requests that she leaves her blouse open, in the naughty breeze and requests her to lay beside him in this beautiful meadow and experience the softness of the grass and the coolness of the breeze, by being with him.
In the second stanza, he says that, the man speaks to lady saying that with the open field and the honey suckle around him, his desires gets provoked and in this mid-noon time with the glaze of the Shamrock blades and the clouds passing by leaving the choice to them for enjoying the pleasures between them. And once more, he asks the lady once again to come and lay with him.
In the last stanza, the poet calls his love once again to stay close with him and he describes his eyes as ‘ Hungry Emerald Eyes’ where he represents the hunger for his love through is eyes and would love to stare at her beautiful warm eyes, which he calls as the ‘Black Diamond’ and he would love to keep staring at her warm black eyes and would love her to take his hand in love and he would like to assure her that, Diamonds and Emeralds do not fade away , forever, where he tries to depict that the love for them would be eternal and that nothing could depart them.
