“Beautiful” is the simplest poem on Earth that explains the fact that each and every individual and all the surroundings in an individual’s life are beautiful. In fact all the attributes and characteristics of an individual such as honesty, kindness, intelligence and talent are also beautiful despite the fact that all these characteristics are intangible.
What is amazing about the poem is that apart from enduring the beauty of tangible things on Earth, it also stresses on the importance of intangible characteristics of human beings.
The rising sun in the nature is beautiful, the chirping birds in the morning are beautiful, the golden daylight is beautiful, the red wine is beautiful, and everything is as a matter of fact filled with beauty. Beauty in fact lies in the eyes of the beholder. A human being who does not see the beauty of the world is unable to do so because of the fact that an individual only views the world the way he or she is. If a person views the world as beautiful as he or she is, life gets beautiful, if not he or she is the same view as the view itself.

Though the poet describes a number of things as being beautiful, but still he ends up saying that we all are in fact beautiful. There is no need for us to look for beauty outside; we have been created beautifully by God, what else we can ask for.
The reason why the poetess chose to write on this simple matter of beauty is because she is aware of the fact that in our everyday life we forget to appreciate the beauty of all that is around us and we should start our day with appreciating everything beautiful; we ourselves and our surroundings. We all can understand the fact that love is extremely beautiful but the poetess also stresses on the fact that power is equally beautiful. She says that nothing is more beautiful or less beautiful; everything that we are surrounded of is equally beautiful as compared to any other thing. Every beautiful thing whether tangible or intangible was not created by mistake, God intentionally created everything beautiful.
