Subhash Chandra Bose was a brave patriot of our country. He was full of leadership qualities. He was born on 23rd January 1897 in Cuttack.
This brave Youngman was a rebellious child right from the birth. He could not tolerate the poor condition of Indians who were being ill-treated by the Britishers at that time.
He rebelled against the cruelties done upon them. He thrashed a European professor of his school and was dismissed from the school.

He passed the matriculation examination from Cuttack, thereafter joined Presidency College, Calcutta. He passed B.A- with flying colours and then went to England. After that he passed the I.C.S. examination but since he wanted to serve his nation, therefore he resigned from the Civil Services and joined Congress movement to free his country from the clutches of the Britishers. In 1939, he was elected the President of Congress, but later on he resigned from the post.
He went Germany during the Second World-War and got two years military training there. He raised his own army for the welfare of his nation.

He died in a plane crash. Popularly called Netaji, Subhash Chandra Bose was a true patriot. He lived for India and died for India.
