This great leader of our country was born on November 14, 1889 at Allahabad. His father, Motilal was a lawyer and mother was housewife. Jawaharlal grew up in luxurious surroundings.
Experienced teachers were engaged to teach him at home. He completed his primary education at home, Jawaharlal was sent to England for higher education. He completed his education in law. After that he returned back to India.
