(1) Adequate and suitable facilities for washing shall be provided and maintained separately for male and female workers at convenient places.
(2) Suitable places for keeping clothing not worn during working hours and for drying the wet clothing shall be provided.

(3) Suitable arrangements for sitting shall be made and maintained for all workers obliged to work in a standing position so that they may take advantages of any opportunities for rest which may occur in the course of their work.
(4) First aid boxes or cupboards equipped with prescribed contents shall be provided and maintained in the charge of a trained person, at the rate of one such box or cupboard for every 150 workers ordinarily-Employed at any one time in the factory.
(5) An ambulance room containing the prescribed equipment in the charge of such medical and nursing staff as may be prescribed, shall be provided in every factory where more than 500 workers are employed.
(6) Canteens shall be provided and maintained by the occupier for the use of workers in factories where more than 250 workers are employed.

(7) Adequate and suitable shelters or rooms and a suitable lunch room, with provisions for drinking water shall be provided and maintained in every factory where more than 150 workers are ordinarily employed.
(8) A suitable room or rooms for the use of children under the age of 6 years of women workers shall be provided in every factory where more than 30 women workers are ordinarily employed.
Such room shall provide adequate accommodation, shall be adequately lighted and ventilated, shall be maintained in a clean sanitary condition and shall be under the charge of women, trained in the care of children and infants.
(9) In every factory where five hundred or more workers are ordinarily employed, the occupier shall employ in the factory such number of Welfare Officers as may be prescribed.
